Montuca Sound System was formed in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, in 2006. The band was born when Eduardo Umana (which was already known in the music scene SPS because Roznamú drummer) and Tony Phillips (drummer) are presented by Gary Lexer night (which was then a bartender) to play a few songs for a group of people who were in the bar Klein Bohemia.
